Shipping & Returns

• Dispatch: same day for orders placed before 12:00 SAST, Monday to Friday.
• Metro delivery: 1–2 business days after dispatch.
• Regional / outlying: 3–5 business days. Remote and farm addresses may carry an outlying-area surcharge quoted before dispatch.
• Payment confirmation: orders are confirmed and paid via WhatsApp after checkout. No card or banking details are collected on this site.
• Shipping fee: flat R120, or free on orders over R3,600.
• Tracked, signature on delivery. A tracking reference is emailed as soon as the waybill is created.
• Deliveries run on business days only, no weekend or public-holiday delivery.

• Address accuracy: you are responsible for the recipient name, address and contact number supplied at checkout. Re-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address is charged at the prevailing courier rate.
• Delivery attempts: the courier attempts delivery twice. Thereafter the parcel is held at the nearest depot; unclaimed parcels are returned to us and the outbound and return legs are for your account.
• Signature: a signature is required. A signature by anyone at the delivery address constitutes valid delivery.
• Risk: risk passes on delivery and signature; ownership passes once payment is received and confirmed with you on WhatsApp.
• Damage or loss in transit: report to info@alpineibexapparel.co.za within 3 business days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date) with photographs of the packaging so a courier claim can be lodged.
• Delays: quoted lead times are courier estimates. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including courier backlogs, weather, load-shedding or customs.
• Returns collection: approved returns are collected by The Courier Guy on a booked waybill. Collection cost is for your account unless the item is defective, transit-damaged or incorrectly supplied.
• Data: your name, delivery address and phone number are shared with The Courier Guy purely to fulfil delivery, see the Privacy Policy.

• Dispatch: 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed with you on WhatsApp.
• Transit: typically 4–7 business days once cleared for export.
• Shipping is charged at live carrier rates at checkout.
• Tracked with end-to-end visibility and signature on delivery.

South African exports are zero-rated for VAT (0% VAT) under section 11(1) of the VAT Act. Prices shown to international clients exclude South African VAT.

Import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees in the destination country are the responsibility of the client and are collected by the carrier on delivery. Alpine Ibex Apparel™ has no control over these amounts and cannot refund duties for refused parcels.

In line with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, clients may return unworn items with original tags and packaging within 14 days of delivery for exchange or store credit.

• Item must be unworn, unwashed and in resale condition.
• Original tags, labels and packaging intact.
• Proof of purchase required.
• Return shipping is at the client's cost unless the item is defective or incorrect.
• Drop, made-to-order and personalised items are final sale.

Defective goods: report within 6 months of delivery for repair, replacement or refund under section 56 of the CPA. Contact info@alpineibexapparel.co.za to initiate a return.

Approved refunds are made by the same method your payment was received, within 7–10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. No card details are held by us at any point.
